The Most Important Thing is to Save the Soul
On March 9, 2022, Russia dropped a powerful bomb on a residential building in Izium. Immediately, 44 bodies were pulled from the rubble, and the death toll later rose to 54. Only those truly favored by God survived this explosion. Among them was Viktor Petrovich.
Due to a concussion from the explosion, Viktor can hardly hear anything. He recalls the moment of the explosion with horror.
He admits that surviving was a miracle. The blast wave threw him several meters away. He only remembers the unbearable headache and the flames around him. Despite his injuries, he immediately started putting out the fire.
Viktor’s wife suffered severe injuries during the tragedy. When she crawled to him, covered in blood after the explosion, he couldn’t recognize his closest person.
Viktor’s injuries and wounds were severe, but the most difficult part was to understand and live on despite what he had witnessed. Fifty neighbors, with whom he had recently shared a piece of bread, suddenly became victims of the Russians, and there was no way to help them.
Viktor Petrovich needed psychological help the most. He needed to express his pain and learn to live with it.
Showing that God loves everyone is our most important goal.
